Irregular menstrual cycles and ovulation patterns

Many women over the course of their lives experience irregular menstrual cycles and, because of this, cannot tell when they will ovulate. This becomes particularly problematic for women when they are trying to become pregnant.

The menstrual cycle is complicated. We might assume that it only involves the ovaries and uterus, but actually, it is a complex system that involves the brain also. The anterior pituitary gland sends is responsible for the release of LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone), which activate the release of estrogen and progesterone at precise times throughout the menstrual cycle.

How is this affected by uterine position and how can the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy TM help with irregular menstrual cycles and ovulation? I think of the communication between the ovaries and the brain like it’s a game of telephone. If you can imagine, the ovaries shouting into their tin can with the wire across to the brain’s tin can, “Hey anterior pituitary, can you send down some LH right away?” If the uterus is well aligned, the response would be immediate and accurate, as though the string connecting the tin cans is a straight line. If the uterus is out of alignment, however, it is as though, that string is torqued in all different directions with different organs pressing on it, occluding the messages between the ovaries and the anterior pituitary gland.  So maybe the message is delayed, and the hormonal timing is off by days or weeks, or the message is misheard entirely and the wrong hormone is released at the wrong time.

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy TM regulate irregular menstrual cycles and ovulation patterns by realigning the uterine position, gently and non-invasively, and additionally using complementary therapies to support this process.
