I wanted to address the the current situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) with you all, as I value our relationships and wish to assure you that your well-being is of utmost concern and importance to me. I will include some thoughts and reflections as well as some practical tips and my own office protocols to ensure health and safety.

As a side note, I will also share that I am diligently working on a Tick Borne Illness Prevention Protocol, as I think with the COVID-19 stress, we are beginning to overlook that the crocuses are coming up (YAY!) which also means the ticks are resurfacing. I want to make sure we are prepared for that as well.
I think it is valid and valuable at this time to minimize attendance of large events and presence in large groups. I do not think this will last forever. When I look at the epidemiology and infection rate, it seems like the sooner we take action to minimize spread, the less intense the impact on our national health as well as our health care system will be.

Personally, I am currently pulling back from attending large social events, in part as my commitment, to you, my clients whose health I value. I am making choices to minimize my own exposure.

Other actions I am taking in my office are to disinfect surfaces including doorknobs and sink faucets between clients and at the end of my workday.
If you have signs or symptoms of a cough, shortness of breath or fever, please call or text me to reschedule. Additionally if you have recently travelled to a high risk area, please wait at least 14 days before coming in to see me.
Please do not hesitate to call, text, or email me with any questions.

Here are a few health recommendations to support our immunity during this time:

  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Do not touch your face
  • Maximize healthy digestion. 70% of our immune system lives in our guts.
  • Vitamin C 1000 mg daily
  • Vitamin D 2000 - 5000 IU daily
  • Selenium 100 mcg daily
  • Astralagus - follow label instructions whether you get tincture or capsules
