Unwinding: Practices to Release Trauma from the Pelvic Bowl

We are living in wild times right now. The uncertainty that has lived beneath the surface the whole time, is unveiled. As a result, many of us have been living for some months now in a perpetual, collective trauma response.

This 4 week series aims to offer us supportive tools and practices to unwind that trauma. When we live in a trauma response, we can only response to that which is around us from that place. If we can unwind our trauma, we can receive what is happening around us with resiliency and find strategic, supportive responses to our personal struggles and the collective experience.

After holding Unwinding as a single class, it became clear that having consistency, rhythm and community will support us to make lasting changes in how we relate to our pelvic bowls. And specifically how to maintain practices that help us continuously release the trauma and tension that builds up in our bodies, with the consistent struggles that are presented to us.
